I like Eric Mack's position on this one. In normal circumstances you have great freedom of choice for your actions. In abnormal stituations you do not. ``kill the enemy/or be killed yourself'' ``steal a loaf of bread/or starve to death'' To be faced with such limited number of choices is to be in an abnormal circumstance -- some (personal) disaster has occurred. -- Laura Creighton ihnp4!hoptoad!laura laura@lll-crg.arpa
