In defence of hackers. . . Back in 1977, while atending a special summer program for Komputer Kids at good 'ol NCSU, It was decided that 'hacker' meant those who could code the way John Bach could compose, and a 'hack' was someone who would be left behind by our expanding technology. My pens don't leak. I prefer cotton button downs to flannel (it is summer in Raleigh.) But then they go good with my rainbow 'spenders and ratty tenny shoes. It is true however, that most hackers grow up to be computer scientists. Hack on! --jcz
