I was playing the tourist a few moments ago, and was doing great! I was on level 2 and had just managed to squeeze my strength to 18/96 with a few tins,found a plate mail and a good mace. I had also found half a dozen of rings, so I ate a Leprechaun just in case one of them was a ring teleport control. That's when it happened; "You float gently off the ground ..." 'Great! It's a ring of levitation and I don't need to identify it!' BUT THE DAMNED THING WAS CURSED!!! I tried reading every scroll I had, but of course I didn't have a scroll of remove curse. I couldn't pick up any of the goodies I found , but what was worse; "You're floating high above the stairs." The only way to break the deadlock would've been to attack a Nymph, but they are not too common on that level. ---more---You starve to death. (snif) /NPN
