A couple of weeks ago, I posted a letter asking whether anyone wanted a bunch of hints files for hack. The response has been enthusiastic, so I am now post- ing the files. These 19 files will occupy around 100K in all. They are organ- ized as a directory with two subdirectories. They are all spoilers, and their subjects will be of the form hackhints/*. Thanks to Col. Sicherman and lazarus/"Daniel G. Winkowsky". for their help in creating and sending to us some of these files. These files give away everything that several people have discovered about the game of hack. They are properly organized as a directory containing most of the files and also containing two other directories, net.files and tactics. Note that we have modified some of the files that have come to us over the net. No warranty is implied, especially since different versions have dif- ferent features. If you have information to add or corrections to make, please post them of mail them to me.
