Well it may not fit, but I am going to try to put a Hack on
to an IBMxt running PC/IX. Any Idea of any ways to clip text/and or
data that has to be resident in memory at one time? I have the version
which has mklev external to the main block, so things are smaller there
at least.

I hope you are using the pdp-11 version. I tried just for fun to build the regular version on pc/ix and got some nasty messages about cst and cret being way out of range. The text comes to 252k alone. I got the pdp-11 version running and banged on it for a while until I lost it. (I accidently did a ``rm ./bo *'' when getting rid of the bones files.) There were a lot of little changes that had to be made so pc/ix could get it to fit in 65k text. It came out to about 63.5k text. So if you wish, send me a tickler in about a week and I'll send you all the mods I had to make. (I got to find the first part of the sources for pdp-11 version) If anybody has them, drop me a line so I can poll your sight for them. Thanx, Peter Barada ima!pbear!peterb ihnp4!inmet!pbear!peterb
