After reading that it was possible to slip into the same space as a boulder I
came up with this way of stealing for a shopkeeper. You generally need a
pickaxe so it works best for a Spelunker, but it works great!
1) Find a boulder reasonably close to the shop. Hack and chop enough additional
passage way to get the boulder to the door of the shop.
2) Drop everything.
3) Push the boulder into the shop.
4) The shopkeeper will block the way of the boulder, but eventually you will
slip into the same space.
5) Gather up everything in the shop.
6) Push the boulder out of the way and exit. The shopkeeper gets no opportunity
to block you from the door, nor can it block you from pushing the boulder.
