I don't recall ever reading about this before so please forgive
if I am repeating myself again redundantly...
I found the need for a ring of levitation when I finally located
the resting place of the Amulet of Yendor. The small room containing
the Wizard of Yendor and the Hound of Hell was surrounded by a pool
(I would guess it was fire since I was in Hell, but I floated over
it anyway). Anybody know what is supposed to be so bad about this
dude ?? I didn't find him a challenge at all. He DID turn invisible
on me, but since he had nowhere else to go I could hit him anyway.
It said he was casting spells but I didn't feel anything.
