Has anyone heard (like I have) that the Stones are going to go on tour

sometime in the summer of 1985? If anyone can get a hold of a concert

schedule, I would REALLY like to see it.

The Stones will most probably start a tour of the world in early
1985, maybe February. Mick is coming out with his first solo album
at the end of December I think, and the Stones will go into the
studio in January to bang out another million selling album. I'm sure
that once these albums are out, the Stones will tour to sell them.
They put on a great show and play even greater songs.

If you seriously believe that they are going to go into the studio in
January and hit the road in February to promote the album that they just
recorded I know of some prime real estate up near the Grand Canyon that
you may be interested in. That's just too little time to go from studio
to record store shelves. Since their albums have been fairly erratic
over the last several years, I sincerely hope that they don't just "bang
out another ... album". On their last tour (1981), they concentrated,
as much as possible, on outdoor stadium sites. It's doubtful that a
tour, if any, would start before summer. Sure hope there's a tour,
though. After the Jackson's "Victory Tour", it would be refreshing to
see a tour where the performance equalled or exceeded the hype. (It
would also be nice if the tickets cost somewhat less than $30.)
