When I try to Save, I'm told "Can't Open Save FIle (Continue or Quit):" I've played around with my HACKDIR variable, but that hasn't helped. My home directory is completely open. (dwrxwrxwrx). I'm running version 1.02. Any advice?

This had to be changed on our system (it, by default, expects you to have a directory called save). Also, regularize() seems to screw things up, just comment it out. -- Darrell Long Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science University of California, San Diego UUCP: sdcsvax!darrell ARPA: darrell@sdcsvax

It has to do with the ownership of the hack directory. Make sure it and all the files in it...especially the 'save' subdirectory... are owned by the same person...root...daemon...falcon..whatever you use. -- "A rose...is a rose...is a rose." ******************************************* Shelli Meyers UUCP: ...!harvard!bu-cs!sam ARPA: sam%bu-cs.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa REAL LIFE: I dunno.
