We had this problem for a while here because our hack admin (*blush*) didn't know about the file. Once in place, hack will start giving you fortunes. When he died, hack unloaded his possessions in a..zA..Z order, putting the 'c' higher in the heap than the gloves. You will always encounter the 'c' before the gloves. Sorry folks, forgot to tell you its in net.sources.games. You do all get that newsgroup, don't you??? Update: Those of you with non-PC/IX systems can grab the code and drop the assembler stuff to get it running. The assembler just speeded up deficiencies in the string package by a few percent.
