[net.games.hack] tainted meat and xans in 1.0.2

At my site, we are using version 1.0.2, and unfortunately,
royal jelly won't cure your legs (at least not totally -- and
there is no "your legs feel better" message), nor will it
save you from food poisining (I've tried both DESPERATELY)

also, in our 1.0.2 I think your gloves can be rusted by
rusty monsters...

We also have 1.0.2 but I believe jelly works for xan pricks (um, that doesn't sound right...) but there is no feel better message (that's m-e-s-s-a-g-e).

Found a few points of interest on 1.0.2 and I am curious about 1.0.3 comparison.

First, opening a tin from the floor of a shop will act strange (not bad) if you are interrupted; you stop opening the tin, and it jumps to item a) (!) in your
inventory and is not marked unpaid. I imagine its fixed in 1.0.3.

Secondly, Elbereth (while not holding off Shopkeepers) also will not hold off tamed dogs confused from hunger.
This is a serious bummer, since killing your dog is bad for you, and you have no protection from the bitch.

In general, I have heard that 1.0.2 is actually more enjoyable than 1.0.3, but I'm interested in comments from people who know both.
