Re: net.theatre Response: Yahoo! I am damn glad that we finally have a newsgroup devoted to the delicate art, theatre. I suggested such a newsgroup about a year and a half ago. There was then no interest. I guess it's time has come. Make me think that there is hope for net.rec.rugby... My questions is, how many of you out in netland think of yourselfs as hotshot dramatic literature critics? I am a senior (literature-theatre) at Reed College writing a play for my senior thesis. As it stands, the piece is about half done, with a well-polished first act. This is one of those horribly modern plays full of odd allusions and weird twists of plot and character. The problem with such a piece is that half the time you don't know if the stuff you've written is worth the paper it's written on. What I need, then, is feedback on my material. I've gotten lots of it already, but it has all been from students and professors. If anyone out there is interested in reading my play and telling me what you think, please drop me a note and I will e-mail you a copy. Posting it to the net would be bad news considering that it is about 6000 words long. Bill Baker (!tektronix!reed!wab)
