U.S. Citizens: This June 30th has been declared National Women-are-still-denied-equality Day and you are invited to fondly recall some of the ways this has touched your lives, as I'm sure it has. An example from my own family: - my mother was laid-off from her job of 4 years for "lack-of-work", after they managed to find a man who would do the same work for only twice the salary (after they had her train him, of course).
