There's "Woody's Children" on WQXR (New York City, 1560 AM, 96.3 FM),
at 7:05-8:00 pm Saturdays. It's an excellent show that's been on for 11
years. The host is the station's program director, Robert Sherman.

There's also a show on WNYC (New York City) somewhere between 6 and 8 pm
Saturdays hosted by folksinger Oscar Brand.

The show by Oscar Brand is on at 8:00pm on Saturday nights on WNYC.
As a matter of fact all of Saturday night is kinda folk night. I think
they call it "all-american music night" or something like that.

The whole schedule for Saturday night (unless they changed it...this is what
it was two weeks ago), is
	6:00pm - 8:00pm Prairie Home Companion
8:00pm - 9:00pm Folksinger Showcase (or something like
				that, hosted by Oscar Brand)
9:00pm - 10:00pm	(don't remember the name of this one either
but sometimes it is live from Speakeasy's
				in NYC).
	10:00pm - 11:00pm	Mary McPartland's Piano Jazz
11:00pm - 12:00pm	Music from the Hearts of Space
	12:00pm - 2:00pm	New Sounds
I usually listen to NYC all of Saturday night, and I enjoy it very much.

Also, WPRB in Princeton has an interesting program on Sunday evening
from 6:30 - 10:00 PM. It's called "Music you can't hear on the radio",
and they play lots of true "folk" music, Celtic music, satire, etc., etc.
They're at 103.3 FM.

"Music You Can't Hear On The Radio" is a weekly folk music program
on WPRB (103.3 FM) from Princeton, NJ. It is on from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM
on Sunday nights, is hosted by John Weingart, and has often been described
as one of the finer shows of its type anywhere. Don't know if you'll be able
to pick it up where you live, but it's worth a try.

Is this show distributed to other parts of the country or is it
purely a local show? Any ideas what station(s) in northern New
Mexico may present it? Thanks.
