[net.music.folk] Big Dee Irwin - "Swinging On A Star"

jcjeff@ihlpg.UUCP (jeffreys) (03/14/85)

I belive that some time ago there was some articles posted about Big Dee
Irwin and the female singer that was on the single "Swinging On A Star".
My collegue Roger Gowland, who is in England and unable to access the net,
was one of the people who contributed. I have recieved a mail from him and
he wishes me to inform the people who entered the discussion about "Who is
that woman ?" that he heard the said single played on a local radio station
in Engaland. He rang the radio station, to ask them who the woman was. He was
informed that they did not know who it was either, after looking at the
record, as it was only Big Dee that the record was credited to.

I am sorry if this is the wrong news-group to bring up this subject, but I
am told that the discussion was not in the right category in the first palce
and secondly I never took part in it.

If anyone knows which group that the posting was in origanally, could they
please move this posting over to it.

Thank you for you patience.
