Can anyone recommend a good beginner's book for traditional Irish fiddle? I have played southern Appalachian style for about 2 years, and want to pick up some Irish tunes.--Rich Ganns ihnp4!hou2a!hound!ganns Also, who are some good fiddlers to listen to?

Marie Rhines is a classical violinist who "went folk" several years
ago. She has spent lots of time and effort collecting, studying,
and playing old-time fiddle music, both American and Irish/Scottish.
I've heard her perform live several times, and I know she has
produced at least one record.
