Other workshops are West Virginia Repertoire, Appalachian literature,

Appalachian religions, the art of performance, and the audio
production of oral history.

There are also a wide variety of unusual craft workshops, from log
cabin building to basketry, textile arts, tinsmithing, and
papermaking.

And then there are weekend mini-courses . . .

Room and board are provided in the college dorms and cafeteria, and
in some people's homes in town. The cost is $122. per week.

I went to the vocal week last year and enjoyed it tremendously. The
musical staff are enthusiastic and approachable, the college and
workshop staff are friendly and helpful, and the area is beautiful -
right next to the Monongahela National Forest.

I'd be happy to answer questions about the experience; please send
