[net.music.folk] Dulcimer Guru Wanted

jhs@druri.UUCP (ShoreJ) (07/02/85)

Are there any dulcimer gurus out there? I have some questions
regarding types of dulcimers (hammer, plucked), playing techniques
and tuning, and local to Colorado dulcimer festivals (heard there
is an annual one in or around Estes Park each summer).

Any info is appreciated. Thanx.

I'm not sure I'd call myself a guru, but I've been playing (plucked)
dulcimer for about 7 years now. I can't give you anything about
Colorado-local (I'm in Illinois), but I'd be glad to answer any
questions (or refer 'em if I can't!) ;-}
