Tim, send me e-mail with your return address (it would be helpful if it
were part of your .signature file), and I'll forward what I've received
so far for Northumbrian Pipe makers. (The path in the header of what you
sent before was terribly garbled..)

As to Uillean Pipe makers, somebody else on the net will have to provide
pointers.. Anybody out there know?

Please post what you've learned about Northumbrian and Uillean pipe-makers!

I think more than a few are interested.

I have an old catalogue ( 1981/82 ) from Hobgoblin Music, 659 El
Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Tel (415) 872 1388.
They are a branch of a small English business the deal in traditional
and obscure instruments. They list Northumbrian pipes by Burleigh
and by Bayley, Uillean by Glen McCarthy in all configurations and
even Highland, Biniou, Gaita and Flemish pipes.

The caatlogue was free and full of pretty pictures.

I used to live near the original English Hobgoblin store and was always
fascinated by the oddities they had in stock. My connection with
the business has always been as a customer.
