I am currently recovering from an incapacitating muscle spasm in the lumbar area, and I find it rather painful to remain seated at a terminal for more than a few minutes at a time. In our chosen profession, this is disastrous. Any tips from other chronic low back pain sufferers? Ben Goldfarb Univ. of Central Fla.

We have a guy who is going in for back surgery this week. He has been lain up in bed for a few weeks now. An interesting rig with a vt100 has been put nearby him. (detachable keyboards help). <It was his suggestion> - steve
