I'd like to see a time when that question is irrelevant. Wouldn't it be nice if variant (not nec. deviant) behavior and bad adjustments are things that are not allowed to develop in people (i.e., mental illness prevented like smallpox; anyone who shoots the president is without question guilty of bad intentions, to say the least). Unfortuneatly, trying to imagine a society where that is attempted is quite scary (but then again... people used to object to having their kids sent to school, for one reason or another). MM
