Mike Wagner may be right. Perhaps, being English, I have less sensitivity to all these ludicrous things that proliferate the netwaves. Of course it could just be a lot of !...'s in my .newsrc. By way of a sideline, can anyone recall, since I don't read them all and she has appeared in all those I do read, a newsgroup that HASN'T had an offering from utzoo!laura ? /anton aylward

I see your name (hcr!anton) in an awful lot of them too......so what? Couldn't you all just get off each other's back now? I've grown sort of tired of all the derogatory remarks, insults, and other articles of that sort being tossed about on this net. Just because you'll probably never meet a person face to face is no reason to insult them publicly. Surely everyone has better things to do than send this kind of junk, I know I have better things to do than read it. This network can and should be used for more productive things than insulting, picking on, and making unkind remarks about other people.
