Have you ever been inspired by a particular Scripture passage, poem, song, etc.? Here are some lyrics that have touched me. Many of you who listen to christian music radio stations are probably familiar with these words sung by the lovely voice of Sandi Patti: "It's as though we see through clouded glass, our eyes cannot see past this veil of tears, our present pain; this world can never comprehend a love that will not end, the life that always will remain; for there, beyond the edge of time, is wisdom so divine, the throne of truth, the shining way; and soon, in majesty He'll come, to take His people home in that bright and shining day; for we will see Him as He is." It makes today's problems and struggles fade to realize the unimaginable peace and joy that is waiting for us in that day. I often times need to be reminded of the promise of tomorrow when facing the reality of today. I invite others to share some of their favorite Scripture passages, music lyrics, prayers, poems, or whatever. May the peace of Christ be yours, John Emery

A very favorite song of mine is called Road To Zion by Petra. I don't know if I can remember all of the lyrics but here goes... There is a road That leads to life The few that find it never die Chorus: There is a road inside of you Inside of me there is one too No stumbling pilgrim in the dark The road to Zion's in your heart The river runs beside the road It's waters living as they flow In trickling voice the water calls On thirsty knees a pilgrim falls Chorus Sometimes a shadow dark and cold Falls like a mist across the road But be encouraged by the sight Where there's a shadow there's a light Chorus Sometimes it's good to look back down We've come so far we've gained such ground But joy is not in where we've been Joy is who's waiting at the end (MY FAVORITE LINE!!!!!!) There is a road inside of you Inside of me there is one too No stumbling pilgrim in the dark The road to Zion's in your heart
