Hi,
It's Friday morning and I just found out that my friend Larry who I asked
your prayers for died last Wednesday. Thank you all for your prayers.
I believe they did and will continue to do more good than we'll ever know.
Please continue to pray for him, his family, and friends. It's hard.
He knows God, and that's what counts. We know where he is. Praise God.
He's probably just basking in God's presense as you read this note.
It's so hard to lose a friend. I'm not sure how I feel, other than sad.
This is the first death of someone close to me. It's hard to understand
why God allowed this all to take place, but He did allow it. All I know
is God Loves Larry. God let His own Son die, and I don't understand why
it was that way either. Why He couldn't just forgive us and everything
would be alright. I can only accept it and trust God knows what
He's doing. Please pray for continued strengthening of our Faith in God,
and belief and acceptance and support of His Ways.
Knowing Larry, he's having a hard time having left his family and friends,
but God is right there to comfort him, and us. Please keep your prayers
coming. There are others in this situation, and they need our prayers, too.
I figure it must be infinitely harder for a parent in Africa watching their
child starve to death before their eyes, and powerless on their own to do
anything.
