Fade in low organ music: Bring up lights: Good evening friends, This is your friendly neighbour telling you that yes, oh yes, it is time for me to leave, this humble plane of existance. Fade in fake crying: Oh, no, do not cry Rich. I may not be back, but I will always be with you. Just look, yes, just look, to the window, past the concrete buildings, and you will know that I am there, somewhere(where am I anyways). Fade out crying: Yes, friends I am going now. I have combatted the forces of evil and now I am going to that great resting place, the unemployment office. Fade in Hallelujauh chorus: Fade out Hallelujah chorus: But, I will be with you always, to the very ends of this age,or at least until you leavethe net too, to join me in that great lineup. Where we will be together, hand in pocket,(not each other's). Fade in triumphal music: Oh Lord be praised. Fade out triumphal music: So, may God be with you. Fade out organ music: Fade out lights: Seriously, it has been a slice. Not necessarily a nice tasting one all the time, but still a slice. To Rich, thanks for the discussions. You are persuasive and intelligent. I may disagree with you, but I still respect you. To the various Christians, thanks for the encouragement. May the Lord be with you. I will see you later, of course. To all the others, thanks for reading and posting. Don't work too hard, and consider what has been posted and will be posted very seriously. Finally remember this: It is easier to hate that which is away from you. It is easier to forget that which is always with you. May God be praised, Sincerely yours, DAVE BROWN

Well folks - this is goodbye. For awhile anyway Reed is not being allowed to post articles to the net so I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you why you won't be seeing the name Lady Godiva quite as often anymore. If I see something posted that I think really deserves a reply from me I'll mail an article to one of my net friends at some other sight and ask them to post it. Hopefully being cut off from the world is only a temporary condition and I will be able to begin posting things more regularly again. I've gained three new steady penpals/friends thanks to the net, one out here in Portland, one in the midwest, and one in England, all of which I'm very thankful for. We can still mail things out so some of you may be hearing from me anyway. I've enjoyed all of the discussions in both of these groups, both the discussions that I participated in and those that I just sat back and enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed net.religion.christian because the discussions often made me step back and think about things again. Well, I hope that if I'm not particularly missed, that my absence is at least noticed. Take care gang -- elizabeth g. purtell (Lady Godiva)
