Steve, I never claimed that the Damager-God created us at all. Quite the opposite. I do not simply ``ignore the possibility'' of the existence of a benevolent power. I claim that it is clear that between good and evil, of the two of them, it is evil that appears to be the result of a force that acts at whim as if it had a will of its own, while good appears to be the result of simple natural forces. From this I conclude that the benevolent power you describe is a fiction from the imagination of those who simply want Him to exist, while the deliberate conscious force of evil is the one that certainly exists. Frankly, Steve, I resent the contemptuous tone which seems to permeate your article. I didn't just ``claim'' the truthfulness of my ideas, I supported my claims. Perhaps, if you disagree with me, we can talk about whatever problems you have with my ideas. The only problems presented to em thus far have been of the ``I just can't believe that God could be evil'' variety. Be well, -- Paul Zimmerman - AT&T Bell Laboratories pyuxn!pez
