Craig, You claim that my opinions on God as evil suffer from illogic. You assert (wrongly) that I seem to implicitly change my stance on whether God created the universe or not. More than just generally saying that He did not, I have offered a logical proof by contradiction that He did not. However, he does tamper with the universe that does exist that He is a part of, corrupting the natural flow of things. In any case, even if He did create us, you claim that because ``we are His,'' He has the right to do with us whatever He wants. Obviously He has deceived you very well into believing that you ``belong'' to Him and owe Him something. You don't. Further, you say ``if God did not create the world, why assume that God also bears responsibility for disease and natural disaster?'' I fail to see how one follows the other. We did not create the world, yet you claim we are responsible for the evil in it. God IS very powerful (though certainly not omnipotent), and with or without creating the world He is still certainly capable of the damage I attribute to Him. You finally claim that I ``do not have [your] God, the God of Abraham, but someone else's God, a monotheistic version of Zeus.'' Forgive me, but how do you know that ``your God'' is not a monotheistic version of Zeus lying to you through His teeth? The evidence seems to support that very notion.
