----------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus & His Father's Love are the reason & purpose for all things! Why did God make this wonderful World for you to enjoy? So you'd know He loves you. Why did He want you to know He loves you? Because He needed someone to love! What is the whole duty of man? Soloman says it in Ecclesastes: The whole duty of man is to fear God & keep His commandments. (Ecc. 12:13) But Jesus boiled it down to something even simpler: "Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart & thy neighbor as thyself." (Mat.22: 37-40) He made it a more personal loving relationship between Him & you & me. Instead of fear God, He said, Love the Lord! And instead of just "keep the commandments", He said, "Love thy neighbor as thyself. In these are all the law & prophets." You'll never be able to enjoy life to the full without Him, because He has created your own heart & life with a vacancy, a hollowness, an emptiness, an aching void that only He can fill. He saved one spot in your heart, the very core of your life, for Himself. He created you to love Him. You're His creation, you're His child, He wants you! -- Real: Stephen Kelley, Univ of MD Comp Sci UUCP: {seismo,allegra,brl-bmd}!umcp-cs!kelso CSNet: kelso@umcp-cs ARPA: kelso%umcp-cs@UDel-Relay

He saved one spot in >your heart, the very core of your life, for Himself. He created you to >love Him. You're His creation, you're His child, He wants you! These words spoke to me. I hear many people today saying that they have something missing in their lives. One person I know in particular was just married, has well paying job that requires little time. She has enough money to buy whatever she wants and the time to do what she wants. She has come to the realization that money is not where its at or more cliche: money can't buy happiness. She feels an emptiness inside and is looking for what she feels is "the answer". At this time, unfortunately, she is searching for her happiness in her work. This is one example of what people experience in their lives. Many people who have come to the Lord have left a life of emptiness to one of meaning, love, and knowing God personally. I truly take Stephen's words to heart. I believe that God did create us with this empty void that only he can fill. And he gave us his only Son who was manifested in way that we may know God personally. Jesus said that when he was lifted up, he would draw all men unto himself. He said that he stands at the door of our hearts and knocks to come in. He invites us to come to him to fill that void that only he can. Once again, I wish to thank Stephen for his annointed words. By the way, in my last article I mispelled Stephen's last name "Kelly" instead of "Kelley". My apologies to Stephen. By the way, the person's name I spoke about above is Terry. Please pray for her and pray that the seed I planted may be watered and grow through God's power, love, and grace. In God's Grace, John Emery fluke!emery
