Hi,
Kris and I received a wonderful gift last Saturday - our first child,
Sean Timothy. He arrived at 2:50PM, after labor started the night
before about 9:00PM. He weighed in at 7'15-1/2'', 22 inches long.
My wife being a nurse, knew what medications to ask for, how much
and when. It was great. I got to coach and measure the contractions,
and even cut the cord. We were blessed with a Christian nurse who
helped take pictures, and even gave us some classical music that we
played as the baby was delivered. Even the doctor said it was so much
fun, he wished they all were like this. They'll be home tomorrow, so
I'll be taking the rest of the week off on paternity leave.
What a gift! Now the real work begins.
Later the doctor gave us a little tee-shirt with teddy bears on it,
that said "Delivered with love by Dr. ___".
All the prayers and support we received and continue to receive we
deeply appreciate, and ask God to return those gifts many times over
back to you.
