I have submitted to net.sources a DEC VT100/Tektronix 4014 Terminal Emulator for the Macintosh. Two *.rsrc files in tohex format, and a couple of documentation files are supplied. The program was developed under Manx C68k. The VT100 emulation is good, character delete/insert is included vt102 style, but the multiple character sizes, line drawing graphics, etc are not implemented. The 4014 is very complete, 4 character sizes (Fonts included), the screen is refreshed, full screen cross-hairs, etc. The program runs at ~2400baud without XON/XOFF handshaking. I have submitted this program, VersaTerm, under the conditions stated below. PLEASE READ!!!!!! *************************************************** ** VersaTerm ** ** DEC VT100/Tektronix 4014/Data General D200 ** ** Terminal Emulator ** ** Copyright 1984 Lonnie R. Only Usenet and ARPA-Net listeners may download this program for their OWN PERSONAL USE. The program MAY NOT BE GIVEN TO ANYONE IN A DISK TO DISK MANNOR. Please honor these rules, as I may offer a form of this program as a Commercial product in the near future. This posting is a way to say "thanks" to those who have posted useful programs in the past, and encourage the net to serve as a Beta test site for future programs. Lonnie Abelbeck mhuxh!aluxe!lra

VersaTerm hint: Rather than using Rmover to copy the supplied fonts into the System resource file, you can just copy them into the VersaTerm resource file instead. That way VersaTerm always finds the fonts, independant of what System file the mac was booted with. [By the way - a big thanks axluxe!lra for posting this, it's a very nice terminal emulator.]
