I've been trying to get some of the various forms of binhex converters running for my mac (I really wanted to try missile command... *grin*) and have had wonderfully bad success. can someone please post/point at up to date sources and suggest a useful way to get a copy bootstrapped onto my mac? there was one version that was uuencoded-- uudecoding that and using macput to get it into a resource file got me a cute little window with a bomb in it and an error of '26' (haven't tracked that one into inside mac yet...). If it helps, I DON'T have basic (*urgh*) but I DO have Mac C from consulair. Anyone want to do a general overview of how to get stuff onto the net for posting and off of the net for use? It might be a great help to us poor folks who haven't been reading the mac groups from the beginning. thanks, as they say, in advance! chuq (and Macduff, who REALLY wanted to play missile command) -- From behind the bar at Callahan's: Chuq Von Rospach {allegra,cbosgd,decwrl,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.
