We have found some extra funds that might go towards buying a Mac or two, and the following questions have come to mind: 1) If I use the Mac for typing documents, how easy/difficult is it to get them to my main computer (running 4.2) for printing? Any rumors about the date of the new laser printer and its price? 2) How easy/hard is it to program (say in BASIC); is it reasonably easy to use windows and access files? Are there any particularly good C compilers available yet? 3) If I use it as a terminal on my desk, how fast will it run to the mainframe (9600, 4800, ?)? Is MacTerminal a good package; are there better ones? 4) If I get a 128K Mac, how big a document can I comfortably work with (assume one disk drive)?
