I'm using Sumacc and am trying to convert one of my graphics programs to run on the Mac. I do not yet have a copy of Inside Mac (I saw one today and realize how much I need it). Here's the scoop: After looking at some of the example programs, I wrote my own init routine and then tried to draw something on the screen. I find myself in the debugger with a complaint about some address which looks like a very large number. This is as soon as I click on a menu item. Sometimes things will work when I click in the menu bar (i.e. SelectMenu pulls down the menu) but I never get highlighting of the menu items. Sometimes (and always after the first time) The menus appear without the background (i.e. just the text and the border) and they don't get erased after selection or exitting the menu. Is there an init routine I don't know about? Am I screwing up the local and global coordinates? Does anyone have a program skeleton which creates a single scrollable window for doing graphics (I don't need the TextEdit stuff I think)? Any response will be most sincerely appreciated, Seth Goldman ARPA: seth@UCLA-LOCUS.ARPA UUCP: ...!{ihnp4,cepu,trwspp,sdcrdcf,ucbvax}!ucla-cs!seth USMail: Computer Science Department A.I.
