[net.micro.mac] Rather interesting coincidence

This seems like a rather amazing coincidence... anyone have an explanation
at Apple?

It doesn't seem like such a coincidence, a Macintosh is an apple,
which is why the chief said apple...Macintosh, and is why apple
chose the name Macintosh.

Unless there is more to it than that, then it is pretty simple.

Sorry if I'm not from Apple, but it's really not as much a coincidence as it
sounds.  You see, a macintosh (however it is really spelled) is just a type
of apple - whence came the name for Apple's Mac.  Kinda neat, huh.

Hardly surprising, considering that McIntosh is the second most
popular variety of apple (the fruit) in the U.S.
