Just bought this program, which claims to add spelling checking to MacWrite (by adding a "Spell" entry to the main menu.) The manual claims that there are tow versions of the spelling checker. One version does only spelling checks and the other include a thesaurus. According to my under- standing of the manual, I need MacWrite 3.3 or later to use the Thesaurus version, and the Spell only would work with any MacWrite. It appears that neither version works on my Macintosh, so I went down to a dealer to find out when the 3.? upgrade for MacWrite would be available and they guessed it would be out sometime in January. So now I am waiting to see if getting 3.? will solve my problems. If you NEED a spelling checker and need it yesterday, call Assimaltion Process and make sure you will be buying a usable product before you order. Michael Toy

IS there anyone out there with version 3.3 of MacWrite? I tried to find
something more advanced than 2.2 in Portland (OR) and was stumped. I
suspect that the larger cities are the only ones having it...
