I've found that an even better solution to BinHex.hex is a Unix program called xbin that came around the net. It will take a .hex file and turn it into the three appropriate parts. These are then downloaded with 'macput <file>' and you're ready to go, with no conversion (and conversion space) needed on the floppy. Also tends to drop the amount downloaded by 40-50%, from what I've seen. I don't even keep a BinHex on my system floppy anymore, I just bring it in when I want to upload something. xbin was posted recently, I'll send it out again if people need it. chuq -- From the ministry of silly talks: Chuq Von Rospach {allegra,cbosgd,decwrl,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA Vote for the fascist of your choice, but vote!
