You better believe he does! If anyone out there has any information about him please pass it on to me. I've been trying to get research done on him for a book I'd like to write. If you've read Marc Eliot, you may under- stand why I'm trying to find information on Phil. Marc Eliot didn't, in my opinion, do a very fair or faithful job in that book. I want to set the record straight so that people will know about this obscure talent. Phil died on April 9, 1976, in his sister's house. He was a victim of Manic- Depression (inherited from his father) and, later, of one final and success- ful suicide attempt. To paraphrase his friend Jerry Rubin, "He went to his death a fulfilled man, because he lived and loved and he sure crammed a lot of life into those 35 years."
