I've seen various comments (mostly in fa.info-mac) about software supplements-- documentation and disk. What are the procedures for getting these? Are they supposed to be available to all users, or just developers? How do you get on the list? chuq -- From the ministry of silly talks: Chuq Von Rospach {allegra,cbosgd,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA God is a trademark of AT&T Bell Labs --- National Semiconductor does not require useless disclaimers on posted material that is obviously not posted by company spokesmen...

Chuq, The Software Supplement is available to ANYONE, just send $100 to the place where you got your Inside Macintosh, and you'll start getting them. BTW, one of the ''advantages'' to also buying the supplement to inside mac, is that you'll get a ''real'' copy of IM in about 7 months when its published. The disks aren't as important as the manual updates you get. For example the December supplement came with a revision to the Resource Manager guide that explains the ins and outs of ''owned resources'' which are pretty important of you are writing drivers (Desk Ornaments).
