<dem bugs, dem bugs, dem, dam bugs...> Two questions: I can't seem to get macput to work with both the .data and .rsrc forks, or with the .info fork, using macterminal 1.1. I can send a file that is entirely .data or .rsrc with "macput -d file.data" & "macput -r file.rsrc", and use Set File to put the .info stuff in, but when I try to send the whole thing with "macput file", the transfer chokes soon after it starts. I am using macput version as of 7/31/84 (I.E. it isn't using -0.15x protocol). What is wrong? (Use mail, don't post. If people send me mail saying theirs does the same thing, I will post a summary). Second question (which I have asked before): Does anyone know of any way to either 1) get raw mouse input (delta x & y) or 2) position the cursor through software? I would like to use the mouse as an input device that is not tied to the screen cursor, but (for example) if the cursor is on the left hand edge, moving the mouse left does NOT do anything (since the cursor can't move farther). I want the movement returned, not the cursor position. Any ideas? -- Merlyn Leroy "Quote funny nose"
