Just received the new Desk Accessory "Idle" from Larry Rosenstein from Apple. I have replaced my existing Sleep DA's with this one, since it seems to work best. Larry's remark that you would want an application-specific icon is not completely correct as far as I understand. You don't need to install the driver in every application - just installing the icon that you want to use would do the trick. (This is because the icon is a resource, and resources are always searched in document-application-system; although icons seem to be slightly different, since they get copied into the Desktop resource file.) It becomes even simpler if you change the icon number in the Idle DA from 3 to 128. This seems to be the standard (or at least default?) icon number for most applications, at least for the ones I had on my MacTerminal disk. This way you don't have to change any application, and the Idle DA will show a different icon for each application. I've created a special icon in "Desktop", to show when Idle is used from the finder. Have fun, Jaap Bood ATT & Philips Telecommunication (APT) -- Jaap Bood IH-3058 2C-434
