I am posting several small BinHexed programs to net.sources.mac. All of them were downloaded from Compuserve and are, to the best of my knowledge, in the public domain. The files are: BinHex4.hcx - Here we go again, folks, another BinHex protocol. This program translates files from BinHex2, but produces BinHex'ed files with lines of longer length. You might as well be ready for new stuff as it comes. I really enjoy the icon. Also, the output file can be double-clicked to start the application. Author: Yves Lempereur. TRANSF.HCX - This is a really neat desk acc. in DAM format. It allows its user to change applications without returning to the Finder. Two warnings are in order: 1. If your application has open files, the execution of "Transfer" may cause them to be trashed; 2. The program seems to work only on applications which are located on the startup disk. Author: Greg Frascadore. MASINI.HCX - This program initializes Macintosh disks and gives them all the same title. Safety features are included. Author: Frederic F. Anderson. EXTRAS.HCX - - This is another desk acc. in DAM format. The program displays available disk and memory space, deletes files and compacts memory. Author: Bob Luce who asks that, if you like it, you send him $5.00. Chuck Szmanda aluxp!szmanda
