[net.micro.mac] Intro to Mac books

gwe@cbdkc1.UUCP ( George Erhart ) (03/01/85)

Hey folks,

I just got back from the local book store, and I counted 20+ books
on the subject of how to use the Mac. Does anyone really need an
in depth guide to MacWrite & MacPaint! How to use Mac Multiplan!
These books were 3-4 hundred pages, and ~20 bucks apiece.
I was hoping to find something like "Inside Mac", but not so expensive
or deep. No dice. Well, how about one of you folk writing one?

Thanks for your time!

PS. How about "50 ways to trash a IBM PC."

Good Idea. Anyone out there interested in writing a book on using C with
the Macintosh with me? It could be very interesting to write, as well as
see if the net could be used as a convenient, effective method for getting
text back and forth.

PS. Does anyone out there really know how to use C on the Mac yet, in all
its myriad versions?
