I haven't seen this yet on the net. I was just talking with Apple
Computer's book ordering subcontractor, who informed me that the
new edition of *Inside Macintosh* ("The Edition for the Rest of Us")
will be available on Friday, first shipping next Monday. The price
is $25.00 (plus 6% tax to California addresses). Orders by mail

If you bought a copy of IM and got binders, I think that you get a copy free. If you have just recently ordered IM, you will get a copy of the "Phonebook" version (printed by Lakeside Press, the same folks that bring you the yellow pages). I am not sure about the difference in price, but I think that you get the difference back. Also, there will be no more supplements for IM. The local word is also that IM will be published by Addison-Wesley in the summer. --Rick
