I am trying to choose a C compiler with good floating point support. By 'good' I mean that it handles floating point expressions correctly (the one I have does not) and it uses the Macintosh floating point library in a sensible way. The compiler I have does not handle 'float' variables correctly, and it screws up the stack on some expressions. Does anyone out there have enough compilers to be able to run some benchmarks or at least check for correctness? Are any Compiler companies willing to publish performance specs? Are any companies willing to send me demonstration disks of their compilers for evaluation? Does anyone care about floating point? Adrian Freed
