HELP!!
I had intended on ordering the Fat Mac bundle, but the computer store
screwed up the order and it did not make it to Apple by the March 31st
deadline. Soooo, I am to be the owner of a skinny Mac bundle (128K).
BUT, this will not do! I have the 256K DRAMs necessary to expand the
Mac to 512K, however, I would like any (and all) comments on the process
before I try it myself.
I know that the Jan. '85 issue of Dr. Dobbs has the instructions,
but I also know that there were some up dates to that. I have also
heard that someone offers a small PC for ~$30 that make the job
easier.
If those of you out there who have bravely expanded your Macs could
tell me how you did it and what problems you had, I would be
most greatful.
I, of course, will wait until the 90 day warranty expires, unless the
small memory drives me crazy by then!
