I would like to make a confession--I actually wrote a paper using an I** AT (running W***star, no less!). To atone for this horrible sin I would like to remove my report from the AT and move it to my mac. Because this system has only one serial port, I will have to make the Mac pretend to be a very understanding printer. I'm sure I can figure out the associated Diablo sequences for bold, underline, etc. But what is the format for the Mac word processors? I have both MacWrite 3.n (and can get 4.0, of course) and a (Legal) copy of MS-Word. Since I dislike both for different reasons, I would settle for formatting to either. Even better, if I could write the file in MacWrite 1.0 format, both word processors know how to convert this to their own format. Plus, I expect, 1.0 is simpler than either. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I'd rather not do a hand conversion, since there's 125 pages of text with lots of bold and underlining. -- Joel West (619) 457-9681 CACI, Inc. - Federal 3344 N.
