I have posted a new version of SkipFinder to net.sources.mac. I have been using it for a week, so it should not have too many bugs. There is now a Finder button and the Restart button has been moved and renamed. The SkipFinder now uses a different method of intercepting quitted programs. This means it will work with more programs, including those created by MegaMax C. Instead of using Desk Accessory Mover 1.4 format, I have used a normal resource file which will work with Apple's new Font/DA Mover. Until this is generally available, RMover or ResEdit can be used to move the resources into a System file. In case you are interested, the following resources make up SkipFinder. ALRT -15519 DITL -15518,-15519,-15520 DLOG -15518,-15520 DRVR 27 ("SkipFinder") SKIP -15519 (-15520 for versions before 5.0) All these resources must be present for SkipFinder to work properly. Desk Accessory Movers (Apple or CE Software) will copy all of these resources when- ever you copy SkipFinder. As usual, I would be indebted to anyone who would post this to CompuServe and/or info-mac. Darin Adler ihnp4!tmq!darin
