This question is directed to those with close/direct ties to Apple: What's the SOP for obtaining new releases of things like MacWrite, Finder, MacTerminal? For example, I got a letter stating that my postcard (included with MacTerminal 1.1) had been received and that I would shortly get my Spiral bound manual. It also mentioned that the dealers would be getting version 2.0 soon. Does this mean that I am supposed to go to any dealer, show him my original disk, and he will let me copy the new version? It seems that there are various levels of support for different people and it would be nice if Apple could provide an oracle describing what has been released to who and for what purpose. At the very least a list of Programs and Versions that the 'rest of us' should have and how to obtain it. Whadya say?
