I'm having a problem transferring large files to the Mac. I select Receive File and specify the name of the disk (games) in the second drive (with VersaTerm in the internal drive), then start the transfer, using macput on the host. If the file isn't too big, it shows up just fine on games. However, a big file causes the message: Not enough room on Versaterm. Why should the program care about the amount of room on Versaterm when I want the file to go to games? Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Ned Danieley duke!ndd

I will fix this in version 1.51. I can see how you were confused. Sorry... So, if you got the "Not enough room..." message, indeed there wasn't enough room on the destination disk. Use "About VersaTerm..." and DRIVE to double check this. Something to keep in mind when downloading large files... I pop up the "Not enough room.." error message when the size of the file to be transferred exceeds the amount of free disk space. But, a special case exists if file "foo" is say 200k to be downloaded, you have 190k left on the disk, but file "foo" already exists on the disk (say its 100k). Since you are overwriting "foo" the transfer would work, but instead you will get an error message. A trick to delete files is to "Save Stream..." over the file, and exit "Save Stream..." right away. Several DA's also exist to delete files from an application. Lonnie Abelbeck ihnp4!rduxb!lra
