I've run into a problem using Mac C and I can't figure out what I might doing wrong. I am creating a menu using NewMenu and AddResMenu for the Apple menu and GetMenu for the edit and file menus stored in resources. The code looks good (I can make it available if it'll help, but I didn't want to post a lot of useless data). The resource editor shows the resources I"m trying to read looks good, but when I run the program the menubar shows an unending series of the string 'Q...'. Has anyone else run into this and gotten through it? The MacC examples don't show using Rmaker resources, but my code seems to match the code used in Sumacc. Any suggestions on what I ought to look for? Oh, for those that haven't gotten it, Consulair has sent out a letter to all registered owners announcing an upgrade. The upgrade won't have MDS on it (MDS will now be available, with real documentation, for $150 from them, or from your dealer). The upgrade now includes register variables, enums, and other neat things, and floating point is a $50 upgrade. If you own Mac C, but haven't been notified of this, call them. chuq -- :From the closet of anxieties of: Chuq Von Rospach {cbosgd,fortune,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA Remember me, for that which I must do shall ring out upon the heavens and my name shall be renounced by the tongues of all mankind! - J.
